March Camp-out at Rockbridge State Park: We arrived at the church at 4:30 and planned to leave soon, but
didn't leave unti 4:50. Once at the campsite, we began setting up our
tents and Jordan Asher got a nice campfire going. Soon after setting
our tents up and getting our gear stowed, we started a game of two hand
touch fooball. It was really fun! The teams were evenly matched, so it
was a close game, probably 70-64! I think my team won!
We stopped playing for a bit to go see Grant's capture, two huge
salamanders! After seeing his salamanders we finished the the football
game, but this time playing tackle! When my team was finished
destroying Jordan Asher's team, we headed over to the picnic benches
for supper. Mr.Temple(our scoutmaster) told us some insteresting
stories of his youthful experiences in scouting; we now know how to
handle naughty scouts! After supper we played CTF, Daniel Loftin was
decked by Jordan Asher! It was a good experience! We had a good
time, and we all retired to play cards. All through the night it was
raining,sleeting,and snowing but we all stayed warm. In the morning we
left early, feeling refreshed and ready to hit the day head first.
